Horticulture Lab and Lecture

Monday, November 16th – 1:00 pm – Horticulture Lab at Cooperative Extension, Stony Point –  followed by a lecture about Edible Landscapes

In the Lab, club members were shown various ticks under a microscope and learned how to identify them.  This was followed by an excellent presentation about Edible Landscapes by Donna DeSousa, Master Gardener.

Indoor Plant Sale & Native Plant Team Game

Friday, November 6th – 1:00 pm – Members brought indoor plants as well as other items such as vases, pots, flower arranging frogs, etc.. All proceeds were donated to charity.  We had a Native Plant Team game. Members were divided into groups and a competitive native plant matching game was held. Prizes were awarded.  Cooperative Extension kindly donated books, written by Ralph Snodsmith, that were distributed to our members.
