Annual Plant Sale

May 31, 2014 – Plant Sale- After a long cold winter our gardens were slow to wake up, this necessitated a postponement.  Members dug and donated healthy, beautiful plants from their gardens. Members without gardens or who were unable to dig purchased plants from local nurseries and donated them to the club for the sale. Members brought homemade baked goods which were sold to the public. Everything was so delicious it was difficult to choose. Bumps & Co. participated once again and sold lovely perennials and vegetable plants. International Bulbs donated a wonderful selection of bulbs for our sale. Thank you to all the members who participated and made the plant sale so successful.

The church garden serves several purposes it has a central grassy play area for children, it’s surrounding low stone walls hold the ashes of the deceased and it functions as a place where members can gather to both worship and celebrate.
