April 2, 2014 – Lecture about Jasper Cropsey by Anthony Speiser from the Newington-Cropsey Museum – Valley Cottage Library – Tony Speiser gave a PowerPoint presentation about the life and paintings of Jasper Cropsey complete with photos of many of his paintings. He described his life and family from his early success to falling out of favor later in life. We saw photos of his last home, Ever Rest, in Hastings on Hudson.
